01 · Your files

Studies arrive as files? Open them as they are.

A ZIP, RAR or 7z from a messenger, a folder, a DICOMDIR, a CD — drag it in, no unpacking. MPR and 3D run on your own PC.

02 · Yours to keep

A one-time purchase or a flexible subscription.

One license covers three of your machines — home PC, laptop, workstation. A lifetime license keeps working forever. Every update within version 1.x is already included, and support comes from the developer directly. After 12 months updates are optional at $49/yr: the only extra payment that exists, and the first three hundred users are exempt from it for good. A subscription is available too, if paying regularly suits you better. Every feature in one tier — no Pro editions, no paid modules. 14-day full trial, no card; and if you never buy, the free tier stays yours forever — commercial use included.

03 · Your hospital's archive

Reads from the PACS you already have.

It changes nothing in the archive — read-only. In most setups, connecting takes five minutes; when the server needs registration, the built-in wizard writes the ready-to-send email to your system administrator.

Your data

Three facts for your IT department.

Studies never leave your computer

Viewing, MPR and 3D run locally. There is no cloud storage: patient data is not sent over the internet.

The hospital archive is read-only

Tomoid works with a PACS read-only: it writes nothing, changes nothing, deletes nothing. The archive stays exactly as your admins keep it.

The license is checked locally

A lifetime license is checked locally and does not depend on our servers: four months after activation the app stops contacting our license server altogether. A subscription needs a periodic check, but it keeps working offline for up to 30 days.

About

From the author

I am a practicing radiologist. I built Tomoid because I got tired of slow hospital software bolted to a single workstation. Everything here opens fast and right on your own computer: studies are never sent anywhere, and a lifetime license stays with you for good.
